Second generation (with the 2 lines on the fliplock).

This piece is only a part of the clasp, since it represents a folding blade with the most important part the fliplock allowing the locking of the clasp to the wrist, the ingenious system invented by Rolex.

Cosmetical condition is rather good, no major wear between the blades, no visible surface corrosion.

It can be integrated on an oyster bracelet blind or folded 78690 or 78790, for the sports series.

It is certainly the part of a Rolex bracelet that wears out the fastest in a watch and that, once broken, obliges its owner to change its entire clasp with the Rolex shield logo.

For all Rolex Explorer I (114270-14270*) and Explorer 2 (16570) watches models with 20mm lugs.

Clasp code : MA5 (year code estimated of the clasp : 2005)

Very good general condition, micro marks visibles on the surface without gravity not affecting the proper functioning of the piece, tested as functional.

Ideal product for a restoration or to rebuild a Rolex deployment buckle #78690/78790 bracelets.
