♛♛ Highly Collectible Rare Rolex 5517 British T Military Submariner Dial for ref: 5513 & 5517 Milsub Royal Navy ♛♛

AMAZING & INCREDIBLE 70'S VINTAGE 5513/5517 MILITARY UK SUBMARINER 

History :

One of the most desirable of all Rolex watches, but also one of the most faked, the British Military Submariner differs in many aspects from the standard 5513, and they have fixed bars (which mean they can never be fitted with a Rolex band) and special dial and hands. The hour & seconds hands are "sword" shaped, whilst the minute hand is about twice the width of the standard version. These special hands are designed for much better visibility under low light conditions, either underwater or on night operations. The dial is marked with a large T (signifying that the dial uses tritium) and the rear of the case has full issue markings.These watches are without doubt the most faked version of the Rolex Submariner and the quality of these fakes has been improving greatly. Therefore I advocate never buying one of these watches (or a COMEX) without having it checked by Rolex. It also has the now increasingly rare “full” bezel insert with 60 individual minute markers, unlike the much more common 15 minute version.The movement is a 26 jewel cal hacking 1530.
