Presented for sale is an authentic Rolex genuine calibre 3186 automatic movement, stated to originate from a Rolex GMT-Master II reference 116710.

The Rolex movement GMT 3186 is one of the brand’s highly regarded modern GMT movements, engineered to display a second time zone and created for Rolex’s celebrated travel-watch collection.

Its refined construction, automatic winding system and GMT mechanism make it an especially desirable foundation for a specialist restoration workshop or for an advanced collection of genuine Rolex movement components.

This movement has unfortunately been affected by water ingress. Visible oxidation, corrosion and rust are present, and it must therefore be regarded as a full restoration project or a donor movement for an experienced watchmaker.

It is offered in its found condition, partially dismantled, together with the components visible in the photographs.
