The Rolex anchor is a recognizable symbol almost as powerful as the Rolex crown itself.  These trinkets, for lack of a better word, accompanied New Rolex Submariner watches since the mid 1950’s and carried on through to about the early 2000’s. 

Our focus here is on the Rolex anchors that accompanied the “Plexi – plastic crystal” generation or if you like the models from 6xxx (I have not seen 6200 or other models with anchors so I can’t stipulate if they did or did not but we could say yes.) to include the 6536 and 5508 with a very special version and the models 5510, 5512, 5513 and 1680 prior to the sapphire crystal model. 

While the sapphire crystal models also had anchors they higher depth ratings 300 meters/1000 feet and 1220 meter / 4000 feet etc.

For this little report on the Rolex anchor we are looking at the following Rolex anchors.

♕♕♕This is the goodie wich is the more rarest and dificult to obtain♕♕♕.

 100 meters / 330 Feets :The first and most like the rarest is the 100m/330 ft.  This anchor accompanied the 6204, 6536 and the 5508. 

As seen here in this vintage ad the Rolex anchor is prominently displayed.
