il est standard pour toutes les Rolex anciennes submariner vintage des années 60 à 1989. (de la Rolex submariner 5510 -5512-5513-5514-5517 à la sub date ref 1680 )
Il fixe et maintient le plexi tout en permettant une fixation optimale de la lunette rotative bidirectionnelle.
Il assure ainsi la rotation permanente de la lunette et son insert avec l'anneau de tension.
il a donc une double fonction, celle de serrage du plexi sur la carrure et celle de fixation de lunette.
