A very rare antique & collectible horology Watch automatic movement ETA 2461 from SUBMARINER 7016 & Tudor OYSTER PRINCE men's watches ref 7965.
HISTORY :
The Tudor Submariner of the 60s abandoned the antique Fleurier 390 movement in favor of the ETA 2461/2483 (without date) and 2484 (with date) caliber. The site "Tudorcollector" explains that it is besides this change of supplier, motivated by a concern for modernization and rationalization, which sounds the death knell of the 7928 (while the 5513 continued, her career).For the undated version, ETA 2483 corresponds to a modified ETA 2461. Flying at 18,000 A / h (like the Fleurier), it has 25 jewels.
We find this 2461 movement in Tudor Submariner 7016 watches.
