The Rolex Tropic 37 plexiglass reference 25–37 is designed specifically for vintage Rolex Submariner watch models without a cyclops, including older references from the 1950s and 1960s.

Replaced by tropic 19.

This old Rolex plexiglass crystal is used on antiques Rolex Submariners with a dial size of approximately 37mm, without a date magnifier (“no date”). The Rolex Tropic 37 was one of the signature crystals of the first-generation Submariners and is distinguished by its slightly domed shape (superdome) in Plexiglas, ideal for purists restoring vintage Rolex watches.

It is not suitable for Rolex 40mm modern models or Submariner Date models 1680,1680-8, which use other crystal references (such as the Cyclops 127 for the 1680).

In summary, the rolex antique and discontinued Rolex Tropic 37 (ref. 25-37) is mainly used on antique Rolex olds Submariner with references 5508, 6536, 6538, 6204, 6205, and 6200 without date.
