The History of Rolex Dials & hands :

From the beginning, Rolex watches stood out for the artistic and esthetic designs at the time of manufacturing their dials. Dials consist of the face, the markers and the hands. The result of the different varieties makes up the artistic and esthetic look of Rolex dials.

Throughout time, different faces such as the classic silver color characterized Rolex along with the white, black, blue, champagne or two-color dials, evolving into a variety of textures and designs.

The markers that characterized the Rolex dials were the Stick Markers with different length and thickness, polished or not, applied or painted, as well as triangular, square or round markers.

They may come with Roman or Arabic markers, made of gold for steel/gold and gold watches as well as white gold markers for watches made of steel, white gold or platinum.

We may also find the diamond dial type which includes applied diamonds instead of markers. In addition, these type of dials may combine sapphires, rubies and emeralds. Moreover, there were stone dials such as the Eye of the Tiger, lapis lazuli, mother-of-pearl, turquoise blue, etc.

Regarding the Rolex hands, there are some model types:

minuts : 1.5cm

hours : 1,1cm

Seconds : 1,7cm

These Rolex hands are ssteel mat finish hands gold plated style.
On backside, hands are alloy color, on topside steel finish.
3 x Rolex hands for sale, seconds, hours also minuts.
Theses Rolex hands are matching and all three were pulled from the same watch.
Minor surface pitting and normals marks visible on all hands.
 
The seconds hand is little rounded on its end for to fit on rounded Rolex superdome crystal.
These hands fit all Oyster Perpetual Date and Zephyr 6582 Rolex antiques models but were original on the older ones from end of 50s and early 60's.
